なたの食べているものは本当に安全ですか?環境保護や持続可能な農業への急速な対応が求められる近年、日本を含めグローバル社会では農薬に対する安全性の強化が行政を通じて積極的に推し進められています。そんな中、生物農薬として作物の病害防除に微生物が一躍かっておりその活躍に注目されつつあります。このような我々の知らない微生物の役割を腸内細菌の基礎知識と合わせて、清水鈴菜先生をゲストスピーカーとしてお招きし、一般の方にもわかりやすくご説明していただきます。 ゲストスピーカー:清水鈴菜, PhD 略歴: 岡山大学で博士課程在学中にオレゴン州立大学へ研究留学。帰国後、分子レベルでの植物病原細菌の感染機構の解明を研究テーマとして博士号修得。海外学振授与と共に、コーネル大学にてポストドクターの研究に従事。バイオベンチャー企業で地元産業を守る一つの手段として、ブルークラブ品種識別キットの製品開発等に携わる。カルピスアメリカでは、家畜用プロバイオティクスの B to B商品開発にて R&D マネージャーのポジションを経験。NU Tech で技術移転の仕事に従事した後、現在は農薬・化学品メーカーの K-I Chemical U.S.A.
