July 22, 2020: Ranzo – The Black Experience Japan

The NC Japan Center had the wonderful opportunity to speak with Ranzo, the creator of “The Black Experience Japan” – a popular vlog featuring a series of very interesting and informative interviews with, and a documentary focusing on, People of Color in Japan. Ranzo was kind enough to make time for us and to discuss a number of topics, including how he came to create The Black Experience Japan, his thoughts on what it means to be “Japanese” and “foreign” in Japan, and much more.
