Directions to NCJC!

The NC Japan Center is located in the Spring Hill House at 705 Barbour Drive, Raleigh, North Carolina, on state-owned land which was transferred from the Dorothea Dix Facilities to the Centennial Campus of North Carolina State University in January of 2001.

Coming from I-40

Leave I-40 at Exit 297 (Lake Wheeler Road; NC State Farmers Market), and turn onto Lake Wheeler Road heading North, toward the city of Raleigh.

Immediately after leaving the Exit 297 ramps and overpass bridge you will come to the first traffic signal light on Lake Wheeler Rd. Turn LEFT at this light onto Centennial Parkway (turning Right would take you into a gas station).

Follow Blair Drive approximately 300 yards to the first STOP sign, at the intersection with Barbour Drive. Turn LEFT onto Barbour Drive.

The North Carolina Japan Center is the second building on the left; a large white house with a porch.

Coming from Western Blvd.

Follow Western Blvd. to the intersection with Avent Ferry Road. Turn SOUTH (away from the main campus of NC State University, which faces the north side of Western Blvd.) onto Avent Ferry Road.

Follow Avent Ferry Road down a long slope to the first traffic signal light (Burger King will be on your left at this intersection) and turn LEFT at that light onto Centennial Parkway.

Count the traffic signal lights on Centennial Parkway. At the second traffic light, turn LEFT onto Blair Drive.

Follow Blair Drive approximately 300 yards to the first STOP sign, at the intersection with Barbour Drive. Turn LEFT onto Barbour Drive.

The North Carolina Japan Center is the second building on the left; a large white house with a porch.
